The Wheel of Misfortune is a method of sentencing utilised by the Worshipful Guild of the Sacred Carnifices, which they believe allows for the will of the Highest Divinity to be invoked with regards to condemned persons delivered to their mercy by the civil authorities. Thirty-three options were included on the Wheel as of 1712 AN. The fate of notable personages, those above the grade of "admirable" in the Table of Grades and Ranks of the Benacian Union are recorded upon the Register of Woe for the edification of the wider populace of the Union-State.
