The FC-25 Mastema is a gravimetric gunship. The production version of a lengthy development process, which began with FC-15 Stoat and matured in the FC-20 Egregore experiments, the design philosophy of the Mastema is more akin to a flying warship rather than a flying tank, which was the basis for the pre-fracture design philosophy.
Design
Despite relying on a gravimetric drive for lift, the Mastema has wings, each mounting a gimbled jet engine. This provides a high degree of maneuverability, despite the vehicle's size. The wings provide hardpoints for swappable weapons modules, allowing the Mastema's armament to be customized per its mission profile. Default configuration is for multiple-round short-range air-ground rocket launchers.
