Tales from Kalgachia is a collected literary narrative of the Garden of Kalgachia which won the 2017 FNORD Award for Literature. Penned by Krasniy Yastreb (and certain credited guest writers), each instalment depicts an episode in the life of a random Kalgachi inhabitant set against the nation's wider social and political background. Although most tales are written to stand alone, those depicting the life of the Kalgachi head of state (indicated in bold) can be assembled into a rough serial. The disproportionately high amount of tales depicting episodes of rampant alcoholism can also be considered a running theme of sorts, albeit an unintentional one.
