Shimmerspring Republican Guard
The Shimmerspring Republican Guard is a separatist armed militia in northeastern Sanama. Their stated goal is the independence of the northeastern Istvanistani majority cantons. They are waging a low intensity guerilla war against the federal government. Its methods have been denounced by all major parties, including the Northern League as well as the northeastern cantonal governments. The IPA is classified as a terrorist organisation by the government. They claimed responsibility for the attacks during what became known as the Red Night in VIII.1676. The IPA is the main belligerent in the 1676 Northern unrest in Sanama. Presence in Highpass largely erased following Operation Harrowed Veldt and relocated to Shimmerspring.
Base of operations
The location of the IPA headquarters is not known, but is believed to be somwhere in southern or central Highpass.
