Serah Utherion Lewis
Serah Utherion Lewis is a Blackstone-born Hurmuese lawyer and legal scholar. Serah is a member of the Lewis family from her father Uther Lewis' side and from the House of Verion and the House of de Montfort from her mother, Mariana Verion de Montfort's side. Serah is the sister of Senator of the Holy Lakes and Lord of Blackstone Jacob Utherion Lewis.
Career
Born in Blackstone, Serah showed significant promise as a young student. She studied law at the Princely University of Pentyre in Calbion, and earned her degree there. Subsequently, she moved to Hurmu where her father, Uther Lewis, had taken his primary residence. Serah took the bar examination in 1717 and practiced as a lawyer for several years. In 1726, she was apointed Chief Laywer of the 3rd circuit in Hurmu's capital of Huyenkula, and represented the government of the Holy Lakes in several cases. In 1734, Serah took up a teaching position at the University of Huyenkula, and reached international prominence through her scholarly work. She is known as a literalist and conservative legal scholar.
In 1736, Serah Lewis was nominated by the Government of the Order of the Holy Lakes to fill a vacancy as Jurist on the MTO Court.
