The RLM Super 10 is the only professional rugby league in Mercury, run by Rugby League Mercury. The league involves ten teams, each scheduled to play 28 games. The top 4 teams at the end of the season qualify for the Super 10 Playoffs.
History
The Super 10 was founded in 2013 with ten teams, with the first season scheduled to kick off after the completion of the 2013 Rugby League World Cup.
Scheduling
Each of the ten teams plays 28 games over the course of the season, 14 home and 14 away. The teams play every other team three times, with one extra fixture per team being played against a randomly selected side to allow every team an equal number of home matches.
