The Valenciennes national cricket team (established and run by the Valenciennes Province Cricket Club, sometimes referred to as VPCC) was the de facto national cricket team of the Empire of the Alexandrians. In addition to this it was the de facto governing body for the sport of cricket in the empire. Although named after one of the Alexandrian provinces, its players were drawn from throughout the empire.

The team was formed in June 2008 and played its first match on the 18th day of that month against the Britannic Sandwich Islands. The Britannic Sandwich Islands were a team sent by New Britannia in response to Jean Michel Leclerc's invite. Leclerc invited New Britannia to send a team to Valenciennes to take part in a three-match 40-over series and a Twenty20 cricket match. Valenciennes Province lost the 40-over One-Day series 1-2 and the Twenty20 match had to be canceled due to poor weather.

More recently, Valenciennes entertained Novatainia, beating them 2-0 in a series of three 50-over matches. The first match of the series ended with no result following poor weather restricting play. The following two matches resulted in comprehensive victories for the home side.

Valenciennes were last scheduled to tour Novatainia autumn 2008.
