A province (Gerenian: proziu) is the second largest administrative division in the Republic of Gerenia, behind the regions. Provinces are further subdivided into districts and counties.
Each province is administered by a Provincial Governor (Gerenian: Gažartör proziwes) appointed by the corresponding Regional Governor.
There are nine provinces in Gerenia: five in Mäeklen, and four in Sibirel. East Gerenia, unlike the other regions, is not subdivided into any provinces.
