The defending Apollonian Series champions are the Northcliff Metropolitans from the 2024 season.
This is the first SLB season to feature 24 clubs, eight of which are playing their debut season. Divisions in each league have also been introduced this season.
Schedule
Super League Baseball released its 2025 schedule immediately after the conclusion of the 2024 season. There are 162 games scheduled for all teams, three fewer than the previous season. The scheduling formula was modified this season to decrease the number of games between Interleague rivals from 11 to six.
The inaugural All-Star Game will be played on July 15, hosted by the Blackoak Orioles at Beckton Fields in Blackoak, Kingsland.
Media rights
ESN, Red Sports and Sportsworld enter the 5th year of the SLB media deal.
National
- Red Sports will continue to air their Saturday Baseball and Baseball Night in Floria slate of exclusive weekend games. The network will also air the 2025 SLB All-Star Game.
- Sportsworld will continue to broadcast Tuesday Night Baseball. Most games are blacked out in the home markets of the teams playing.
- ESN will continue to broadcast Friday Night Baseball, with the option to show alternate broadcasts. The network also has the rights to the Home Run Derby.
Local
- FBC Sports regional channels remain as providers of games, not on national television.
