The 2025 Super League Baseball season was the 2025 season of Super League Baseball (SLB). The regular season began on April 7 and concluded on October 5. Each of the league's 24 clubs played a 162-game schedule.
The season was the first to feature 24 clubs following the addition of eight expansion teams. It also marked the introduction of divisions, with the Florian League and National League each divided into East and West divisions. The revised postseason format featured five qualifiers from each league, consisting of the two division winners and three wild-card teams.
The inaugural Super League Baseball All-Star Game was held on July 15 at Beckton Fields in Blackoak, home of the Blackoak Orioles.
The Northcliff Metropolitans entered the season as defending champions after winning the 2024 Apollonian Series. They finished the regular season with an SLB-best 99–63 record and subsequently returned to the Apollonian Series, where they defeated cross-city rivals the Northcliff Florians in seven games to win a second consecutive championship.
Schedule
Super League Baseball released its 2025 schedule immediately after the conclusion of the 2024 season. All 24 clubs were scheduled to play 162 regular-season games, three fewer than during the previous season.
The scheduling formula was modified following the expansion of the league and the introduction of divisional play. The number of games between designated Interleague rivals was reduced from eleven to six, while a greater proportion of the schedule was allocated to divisional and intraleague opponents.
The regular season began on April 7 and concluded on October 5.
Spring training
Spring training for the 2025 season began in late February and continued through March. Clubs began workouts during mid-February, with pitchers and catchers reporting before position players.
Spring training games began on February 23. Clubs were permitted to operate split squads, allowing two squads from the same organisation to play simultaneously. Teams also played exhibition games against minor-league, independent and collegiate opposition, with these games not counting towards spring training standings.
Spring training concluded on April 5, two days before Opening Day.
The 2025 Micras Baseball Classic also affected spring training, with a number of SLB players leaving their clubs to represent their national teams during the tournament.
All-Star Game
The inaugural Super League Baseball All-Star Game was played on July 15 at Beckton Fields in Blackoak, Kingsland. The game was hosted by the Blackoak Orioles.
The introduction of the All-Star Game formed part of the league's continued expansion of its mid-season calendar. The event was accompanied by the league's Home Run Derby and other All-Star festivities.

Postseason qualification
Ten clubs qualified for the 2025 postseason. The two division winners in each league received the top two seeds, while the three remaining places were awarded to the clubs with the best records regardless of division.
The fourth and fifth seeds contested the Wild Card Series. The winner advanced to face the first seed in the Division Series, while the second and third seeds met in the other Division Series.

Wild Card Series
The postseason opened with the fourth and fifth seeds in each league contesting a best-of-three Wild Card Series.
In the Florian League, the Vice City Tigers defeated the Northcliff Rangers in three games, 2–1, to advance to face the top-seeded Dragonmoor Dodgers.
In the National League, the Pentucky Giants swept the Northsilver Diamondbacks 2–0 and advanced to face the top-seeded Northcliff Metropolitans.
Division Series
The Dragonmoor Dodgers defeated the Vice City Tigers 4–2 in the Florian League Division Series. In the other series, the Northcliff Florians defeated the East Division champion Stonehall Stingrays in seven games, 4–3.
In the National League, the Northcliff Metropolitans defeated the Pentucky Giants 4–1. The Blackoak Orioles defeated the Las Andreas Athletics 4–3 in the other series.
League Championship Series
Florian League Championship Series
The Northcliff Florians defeated the Dragonmoor Dodgers four games to two to win the Florian League pennant and advance to their first Apollonian Series of the divisional era.
National League Championship Series
The defending champion Northcliff Metropolitans defeated the Blackoak Orioles four games to two to win the National League pennant and return to the Apollonian Series.
Apollonian Series
The 2025 Apollonian Series featured the first all-Northcliff championship series, with the Northcliff Metropolitans representing the National League and the Northcliff Florians representing the Florian League.
The series went the full seven games before the Metropolitans defeated the Florians, four games to three. The victory gave the Metropolitans their second consecutive Apollonian Series championship after their 2024 title.
Media rights
ESN, Red Sports and Sportsworld entered the fifth year of the SLB's national media agreement during the 2025 season.
National
- Red Sports continued to broadcast Saturday Baseball and Baseball Night in Floria, consisting primarily of exclusive weekend games. The network also broadcast the 2025 SLB All-Star Game.
- Sportsworld continued to broadcast Tuesday Night Baseball. Most games remained subject to blackout restrictions within the home markets of participating clubs.
- ESN continued to broadcast Friday Night Baseball, with the option to provide alternate broadcasts. ESN also held the rights to the Home Run Derby.
Local
FBC Sports regional channels continued to provide local coverage of games not selected for national television.
