Elections were held throughout the United Principalities in late 1735 AN and to elect a new Chancellor and all 28 seats of the Imperial Senate. The election was called after incumbent Chancellor Hans-Georg Nimitz would retire after after 1735 AN.
The Conservative-Nazarene Union elected noted law professor and former Deputy Foreign Minister Konstantin Tiedemann as their candidate. The Farmer's Party elected Gödelitz senator Heinrich Lechner as their candidate.
The election saw an overwhelming victory by the Conservative-Nazarene Union, seeing them win 20 of the 28 seats in the Imperial Senate. Thus, Konstantin Tiedemann would become the new Chancellor.
