Sargon Dummu-Gilgamesh Azulpolassar, or Sargon Azulpolassar II, is the eldest son of the four children of Praetor Sargon Azulpolassar of The Hexarchy, by his wife Mako Himeji, a Ralgonese socialite from Kobol. Sargon II is also the grandson of Gilgamesh II, and a scion of the House of Arumen. As of 1739, the heir-presumptive (Ibila in the local custom) to the Praetor is 37 years old.
Like his father, he was sent to study abroad, both in the Imperial Federation and elsewhere. He returned to the Hexarchy in 1727 AN to take high-level posts.
