Treaty of Portpur

The Treaty of Portpur, is a treaty between the Çakar Empire and Dromosker Island, with permission for signing granted by The Realms Represented by the Hexarchy of the Cities of Marduk, Enkidu, Azul'an, Kobol, Abyd'os, Astaroth, and Smedburg.

TREATY OF PORTPUR

BETWEEN

THE ÇAKAR EMPIRE

AND

THE ASKERR

His Majesty, Jaaguzan, Shahanshah of Çakaristan

and

His Higness, Eru Tepesh II, Prince and Paramount Chief of Dromosker Island

Based on the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Navigation between the Çakar Empire and Dromosker Island, on behalf of The Realms Represented by the Hexarchy of the Cities of Marduk, Enkidu, Azul'an, Kobol, Abyd'os, Astaroth, and Smedburg, the treaty partners continue to build on their cooperation.

Article I - Common customs zone
a. The treaty partners establish a common customs zone covering the territories: Beneluccas, Dromosker Island, Lija, Sanpantul and Sri Pashana. This includes the listed territories with their territorial waters.
b. All citizens of the treaty partners coming from the listed territories can travel freely within the common customs zone.
c. Only citizens from outside these territories, to the extent not provided for in the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Navigation between the Çakar Empire and The Realms Represented by the Hexarchy of the Cities of Marduk, Enkidu, Azul'an, Kobol, Abyd'os, Astaroth, and Smedburg, may be subject to the usual controls.

Article II – Common economic zone
a. The treaty partners establish a common economic zone covering the territories: Beneluccas, Dromosker Island, Lija, Sanpantul and Sri Pashana. This includes the listed territories with their territorial waters.
b. All goods, except arms, live land animals and live poultry, coming from within the listed territories are free of trade tariffs. Only subject to customary taxes.
c. Originating from these territories means all goods produced, processed or imported into these territories more than six months ago.

Article III – Guarding the waters
a. The treaty partners coordinate their navies and coastguards to combat piracy and terrorism in the waters surrounding the territories: Beneluccas, Dromosker Island, Lija, Sanpantul and Sri Pashana.
b. The treaty partners open their naval ports to each other for the purpose of this coordination.
c. The treaty partners conduct joint exercises and operations for the purpose of this coordination.

Article IV - Coordination centre
A Coordination Centre will be established in Portpur by the treaty partners to implement the provisions of this treaty.
