The north of the continent is dominated by the Riponian Mountains, including the continent's highest peak, Mt. Jaiha (4200 m). The southernmost areas of the continent and Hypernostria are icy tundra.

===Mountains===
There is only one major body of water on the continent, Lake Norton.

Mount Isa, has recently been measured at 13,350m and is still growing. Mount Jaiha has also been measured recently at 13,769m, making it the higher of the pair. The Democratic Republic of Riponia holds most mountainous regions. One in the East, which contains Mount Isa, and a smaller mountainous region in the west

There is only one body of water on the continent, and that is Lake Norton.
Jaiha was the first nation to colonize Corum in 2002; it was soon joined by Korhal and the United Secular States. The first country of any lasting influence to inhabit the continent was Menelmacar, which had annexed Jaiha before 2003. A few Slobovian settlements existed in the east during late 2003 before all human habitation on the continent ceased. When people returned, they mostly settled the surrounding islands, which became centers of Stormarkian culture by Series 7. But the most important indigenous Corish nation was Riponia, which controlled the entire mainland save a Stormark enclave in the north for much of 2006 and 2007.

Today, with the fall of Riponia, Corum is split between Bobalania, which holds the old Riponian areas of the mainland; Stormark, which holds its traditional island enclaves; and Craiteland, which controls the three islands to the east of the continent.

Continent of Corum (MCS Physical Map)

The continent of Corum encorporates exactly thirty islands (including the very large island of Hypernostria) plus mainland Corum. 3 of these are occupied by Cräiteland, 8 are occupied by Stormark and 19 are owned by Riponia. Cräiteland hold the three small islands on the east of the continent, Riponia holds Hypernostria, and around 75%of mainland Corum. The remaining 25% is held by the Viking Empire of Stormark.

The north of the continent is dominated by the Riponian Mountains, including the continent's highest peak, Mt. Jaiha (4200 m). These give way to foothills further south until eventually falling into a wide and extremely fertile plain drained by a number of rivers. The southernmost areas of the continent and Hypernostria are icy tundra.

There is only one major body of water on the continent, Lake Norton.

History
