The Federal Job Centre is a government agency of Nouvelle Alexandrie, that serves as a central hub for job seekers and employers in the country. It is administrated by the Department of Labor. It has its headquarters in Cárdenas, but maintains a total of 30 'annexes' across all regions of Nouvelle Alexandrie.

Its primary role is to provide job placement and career services to job seekers and assist employers in finding qualified workers. It provides the following services:

  1. Job Listings, which are job openings compiled from various sources and available through its website, job fairs, and other events. They include both full-time, part-time, temporary, and seasonal jobs across a wide range of industries and sectors;
  2. Job Search assistance, through career counselling, workshops, resume and cover letter reviews, and interview preparation;
  3. Recruitment Assistance, to help employers identify workforce needs, including by job fairs, recruitment events, and job matching services.

The FJC works closely with the Federal Apprenticeship Program to provide on-the-job training and other educational opportunities.
