The Border reavers were subjects without merit who arose in the frontier regions of western Amokolia, known as the Absentien Governorate of the General Government, at the beginning of the 18th century after Norton. They included contingents of dispossessed Amokolian, Mishalanski and Elw, and they raided frontier communities without regard to the border or their victims' nationality. A mix of partisans leftover from the Great Treachery and protected persons who had fled their assigned duties during a period of famine and economic hardship, they were collectively declared to be outlaws by the realm of Elluenuueq in 1712 AN.
