The Ludwigshafener Eisenbahnbewirtschaftungsbetrieb is the national railway company of Sankt Ludwigshafen. The company has its seat in Stadt Sankt Ludwigshafen and is wholly owned by the republic. The company was established in 1700 AN, after the moratorium on infrastructural projects outside Stadt Sankt Ludwigshafen's city walls ended. The company was awarded ownership of the local railroads in the seaport of Oudorp, and maintains a service between various warehouses in that port with a single steam powered shunting locomotive. Despite its ambitions, the company has not constructed any railroads outside the port of Oudorp, nor are there any plans to construct railroads in the near future.
