Chryse has a history of several flags. It currently has a state flag, a merchant navy jack, a naval jack, a royal standard, and a viceregal standard. It has a historical state flag, and also flags of previous sovereigns.

State flag

Flag of Chryse

The state flag of Chryse was last adopted in 1687. It has a golden horizontal stripe on a blue field. It is also the jack of the merchant and military navies of Chryse.

The colours are taken from the coat of arms of Chryse. The golden stripe represents the name of Chryse ("golden" in Athlonian) and its gold-coloured cliffs and riches. The upper blue field represents the sky, and the lower one the sea, from which Chryse made its riches.
