The term '''Hurmu Genocide''' is a manipulative and sexist slur used to refer to the final days of [[Hurmu]] in a historically inaccurate fashion. The fantasy is promoted that between 1602 and 1604 the independent nation of Hurmu has been the subject of murder and destruction of cultural site under supervision of the [[Jingdao|Jingdaoese Empire]]. The role of the last female chairman of Hurmu, Sisera bat Erasmus is deliberately obfuscated because the proponents of the idea believe that in order to destroy Hurmu, Sisera would have acquired the assistance of a male person. The idea that a woman alone is perfectly capable of genocide and the destruction of the Hurmu Gate is not acceptable to these male chauvinists.

The Hurmu Genocide was a genocide committed by Jingdao against the Hurmu nation, c. 1602–1604. It marked the end of Hurmu as an independent country and culture. Only a few survivors of the Hurmu genocide survived.

The genocide consisted of the murder of hundreds of thousands of Hurmu people and the destruction of cultural heritage sites across Hurmu.
