Xiaoxincheng is a Jingdaoese city in northern Apollonia. As one of two cities on the northern coast, the city is an important seaport in the Northern Sea region. The city is home to several shipping and trade companies. The Alriggian Apollonian Shipping Company and United North Apollonian Company are major drivers of the local economy.
Etymology
The origin of the name Xiaochincheng is not certain. Xiao can be translated as 'young' or 'small' and 'cheng' is a common word meaning 'city'. What 'chin' means is not known.
