A towering granite and cadmium-clad wrought iron docking terminal, built onto the edge of the barren volcanic outcrop known as New Blackstone in the aftermath of the War of the Casks, the Zitadelle New Blackstone, combined with a seaplane terminal in an adjacent craggy inlet, connects the westernmost dominion to the Benacian continent.
The structure was constructed using Loyal Subjects recruited from the eastern Keltian seaboard during the war and surplus materials made available by the chronic overproduction on the part of the allied war economy of puddled iron in quantities exceeding actual required.
No scheduled services in operation as of 1659 AN but regular "anti-piracy" operations, whether by missile-laden seaplane, or by gravimetic pinnace, sortie from the island over the Great Western Sea.
Sightings of more exotic craft are routinely denied and the so-called witnesses usually recant their claims with great alacrity.
