The Regional Governor of New Caputia is the chief executive of the Region of New Caputia within the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie. The Governor is responsible for the administration of regional government, implementation of laws passed by the Parliament of New Caputia, and representation of New Caputian interests within the federal system. The office was established upon New Caputia's admission to the Federation in 1722 AN. The Governor is elected by popular vote to a five-year term and may seek re-election. With approximately 12.5 million inhabitants, New Caputia maintains a distinct cultural heritage rooted in its Caputian origins and the legacy of the House of Rothborne.

The current Regional Governor is Maria Elena Roussillon of the Federal Humanist Party. Roussillon won the 1749 gubernatorial election, succeeding the retiring Charles Whitmore, also of the FHP.
