The Hamland Premier League is Hammish professional league for association football clubs. It is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 12 clubs, 10 clubs are Hamland (or Hammish Territories) based and, since 2009, 2 are from New Vaduz.
The Premier League is a corporation in which the 12 member clubs act as shareholders. Seasons run all year long, with the exception of the time when the World Cup takes place, with teams playing 22 matches each, totalling 264 matches in the season. Most games are played on Saturdays and Sundays, with a few games played during weekday evenings.
