This period is considered to run from 1673 AN (starting at the reconsecration ceremony of Sapa Wechua Manco Capac to 1684 AN. This period is known for the aggressive efforts by the Wechua government to modernize and secure the re-established Wechua Nation. The preceding period is known as the Wechua Sorrow (1669 AN-1673 AN).
