National Fryd

The National Fryd is the reservist army of the Kingdom of Moorland, falling under command of the Moorland Armed Forces. It is comprised of a general pool of trained soldiers that are only activated during wartime. They receive basic training but otherwise have civilian occupations, being called to duty only when additional manpower is needed. The initial training period is a 3-month campaign where soldiers are trained in weapons, athletics, and other combat survival skills. Once initial training is complete the soldiers can return to their civilian occupations. Further training is provided on a regular basis, typically one weekend per month.

At present Moorland has an active reserve of 93,500 soldiers.
