The occasional short story, developed in order to give a little flavour to life in the utopian Benacian Union.
- Ainaive at the Finishing School: Where a promising pupil is helped by the kindly staff of her school to overcome her moment of crisis.
- The Tale of Temüjin: Being an episode from the life of an unfortunate man who had disgraced the family name through his selfishness, stupidity, and neglect of duty, and how the path to redemption through suffering was offered into him - if he had the courage to take it.
