Hieronymus Erasmus is a Dutch micronationalist who is or has been active in several Dutch micronations. For a long time, he was a very controversial figure, due to his talents in finding loopholes in existing law and exploiting them.

Erasmus became a citizen of Flanders in the summer of 2005. He was a member of Parliament till July 2006, and then again from June 2008 till March 2009, when he ascended to the Presidency for a few months after the resignation of Gert Geens.
During his consecutive citizenships in Flanders, he has been chairman of 4 political parties, of which he was the only member for most of the time.
Erasmus founded the religion Catologism, based on the Ancient Roman Cato.
