The majority of migrants which settled on the island were rugby league fans and these migrants decided to set up a rugby league championship. 4 teams were created and they are all owned by the local government. In November, Tanbury Falcons converted from Amorian Football to play in the league. The southern Stingers also entered a rugby league team but are still playing Amorian football.
