The Etourney Rugby League Championship is the only rugby league competition in the Florian overseas territory of Etourney. The league is played on an amateur basis and is organised by Etourney Rugby League. It is contested by five teams. The winners of the competition qualify for the qualifying rounds of the FMRL World Club Championships. When an international is called up many of leagues players are called up for the matches however this has been hindered due to the Etourney Rugby League favouring heritage players currently playing in the Florian Super League.
History
In 2017, the Florian overseas territory of Etourney was formed. The majority of migrants which settled on the island were rugby league fans and these migrants decided to set up a rugby league championship. 4 teams were created and they are all owned by the local government. In November, Tanbury Falcons converted from Amorian Football to play in the league. The southern Stingers also entered a rugby league team but are still playing Amorian football. St Edwin's Cavaliers will leave the competition to become a fully professional side and enter the Florian Championship One.
