History
Thampines Rovers were first founded as Thampines FC and were rebranded to Thampines Rovers at the start of the 2021–22 season. The club finished 5th during the 2022–23 season which saw the club miss out on promotion to the Daau Super League. As the 2023–24 season concluded, the Stangs finished in the top 4 bracket and confirmed their promotion to the Daau Super League ahead of the 2024–25 season. Thampines announced the arrival of big time Krasno-born striker Urayama Isei and Vegnese forward Mattia Ferrari.
The Rovers would be acquired by KEA on 4 January 2025 for an undisclosed fee as Desmong Ong made the decision to step aside as club owner and allowed for further privatization.
