The Jingdaoese Mandate Regiment is a peacekeeping force deployed to the International Mandate for the Settlements in Apollonia. A total of 5,000 soldiers have been deployed to the mission. The regiment has a base in the old Jingdaoese part of Tiegang which has its own city wall and they protect the Jingdaoese citizens in that quarter from disturbances by, among others, the Honourable Company. Shangwei Hou Chang, leader of the mission, keeps in touch with the other leaders of the mandate garrisons to prevent communication errors, but the Jingdaoese mostly keep to themselves.
Since the demise of Jingdaoese sovereignty, the Jingdaoese Mandate Regiment has been regarded as an adjunct of the Imperial Whites, upholding the honour of the Heavenly Light in a distant city.
