After a disappointing campaign after a promising start in 2018. The Westlake Patriots looked to improve on its dismal regular season performances and reach the President Bowl for the first time. The 2019 FFL season would be a considerable improvement and the Patriots would finish as FFL North Champions with a record of 10-7. In the playoffs, the Patriots brushed aside the Stonehall Rams 31-7 in the FFL North Conference Semi-Final before beating the Havenbarrow Dolphins 23-13 in the Conference final to reach he President Bowl.

Las Andreas Redhawks

The 2019 FFL season was the Redhawk's first official season of play and they unexpectedly managed to finish as regular-season winners with a record of 12-5, the first FFL expansion team to do so. Because of their finish in the regular season, the team earned #1 seed in FFL South playoffs. They were given a bye to the Conference Semi-finals, in which they beat the Dragonmoor Chargers 28-16 to advance to the Conference Championship against Oldhaven Titans. In the Conference Championship game with a little number of seconds to go in the game, the Redhawks defied all the odds and scored the only touchdown of the game to win 16-15 booking their place to the President Bowl, becoming the first expansion team to do so in their inaugural season.
