The Warring Islands Resettlement Administration is a government body tasked with the resettlement of the Warring Islands following their reintegration with the Kingdom of Nova England in 997AJ. It is responsible for recruiting and vetting all applicants for the Warring Islands Resettlement Scheme, in addition to sponsoring the reconstruction of infrastructure throughout the islands.
Warring Islands Resettlement Scheme
The Warring Islands Resettlement Scheme was established following the passing of the ‘Historical Territories Resettlement Act’ in 18/09/1007AJ. Under this legislation, usual immigration restrictions are eased on the basis that applicants adhere to the rules of the scheme. With those successfully approved given 65 acres of land and full citizenship (for non-citizens) after four years.
To apply for this scheme the applicant must meet the following pre-requisites;
- Lead Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
- Live on the designated land, build a home, make improvements, and farm it for a minimum of four years.
- Pay an administration fee of One Denarii.
- Provide a minimum of one member of the household to the local militia.
- Pass Security & Health Vetting.
Upon approval applicants will attend lectures providing training on agriculture, basic construction and basic firearms use. Following which they will be assigned a local area representative from the WIRA who will brief them on their assigned plot of land, local security matters and other such information. Thereafter they will be provided a resettlement pack containing legal documents, basic food & water supplies, seeds, livestock, tools and basic construction supplies, with the quantity dependent on the size of the household.
