Since the passing of the Valenciennes Territories (Feb. 2008) Act, the Province of Valenciennes has been subdivided into ten Municipalités. Each Municipalité is managed by an Administrateur Municipal, as appointed by the Provincial Executive of the Province. Each Municipalité is administered from the capital city or town, as defined in Schedule I of the Valenciennes Territories Act.
