The '''Kattuz''' are a people that inhabit the antarctic polar region of Micras. They are known for dressing in fur suits, often made from bear or moose fur, that make them resemble large cats. Legends that their appearance was the result of genetic experimenting done by the Jingdaoese Imperial Armed Forces' Unit 666 in order to create superhuman soldiers are false. They are human and do not descend from [[Jingdaoese valleytiger]]s. They were in fact allied to the Jingdaoese and considered superb and cunning warriors fighting for the [[Ci Emperor]] (Sisera), but the kattuz turned out to be too strong-willed and stubborn to participate in the hierarchical Imperial Armed Forces and were expelled after the reign of Sisera. After being expelled from the Jingdaoese armed forces, the kattuz fled from the compound of Unit 666 and created their own safehaven in the far south of Micras, in the city of [[Snaiwdene]]. Relations between the Kattuz and the [[Lanzerwald Republic]]'s predecessor state [[Confoederatio Aemilia]] were established in 1723 when the Kattuz noticed the island north of Snaiwdene was being colonised by forces that also revered Sisera. Legends that their appearance was the result of genetic experimenting done by the Jingdaoese Imperial Armed Forces' Unit 666 in order to create superhuman soldiers are false. They are human and do not descend from Jingdaoese valleytigers. They were in fact allied to the Jingdaoese and considered superb and cunning warriors fighting for the Ci Emperor (Sisera), but the kattuz turned out to be too strong-willed and stubborn to participate in the hierarchical Imperial Armed Forces and were expelled after the reign of Sisera.
