Kan met. Shoshukai is a Krasno-born Dauian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for RTP Adiwira FC, mainly operating as a defensive midfielder.

Club career

After graduating from secondary school, Shoshukai was integrated into the Aeland Belaov FC squad and immediately made an impact for the club in their 2019-20 season. He scored his first goal against Jortu BH FC on his debut and recorded his second goal in the next game after coming on as substitute in a 4-0 win against Trifold FC.

Shoshukai continued his hot form by scoring a brace against Lorat Ultras in a shocking 2-1 win.

During a league game against Vaniking Shooters, Shoshukai was sent off for a controversial tackle against Tik Maxhal but the decision was rescinded, allowing him to play in the next game.

International career

In 2020, Shoshukai became the first Aeland Belaov native to be called up for the national team after several decades of abstinence between the islanders and the mainland. Shoshukai received critics for accepting the call up but was generally congratulated for his achievement and attempt to build the bridges between the island and the mainland.

Shoshukai made a mistake in Krasnovlac's first international match against Pacary, losing the ball in the midfield resulting in the Pacarians scoring. He was a subject to racism comments on social media and was reportedly shunned at the ferry on his way back to Aeland Krasno. Shoshukai withdrew from the travelling squad to Daau for the Daau Opening Tri-Nations Series citing security reasons after the Daau Protests.

Personal life

Shoshukai is an Aeland Belaov native, growing up in the island and attended St Rickards Secondary School but did not feature for their football team as he was part of their water polo squad as a goalkeeper instead. He joined Aeland Belaov FC due to attending training sessions held by their head coach as students are not allowed to play for professional clubs during their studies.

After accepting the call up to the national team, Shoshukai became the first native from Aeland Krasno to be part of the national team.

The train station, Metro Shoshukai was named after Shoshukai's family.

Following the total collapse of Krasnovlac, Shoshukai decided on opting to wait for Phinbellan citizenship rather than seeking citizenship in Daau, a nation with fierce hatred for the Aeland Belaov citizens. However he ultimately decided to take up the asylum citizenship offer from Daau as his mother needed immediate medical attention in Daau and had already took up Dauian citizenship.
