The krone ("crown"; plural: kroner; definite singular form, kronen or krona; definite plural form: kronene) is the currency of Normark. Established in 1703, upon Normark's independence, it began with having equal value (1:1) to the natopo, after which it became a free-floating currency. The krone is divided into 100 øre.
It is abbreviated kr. Sometimes, :– is used instead. As such 200 kr and 200:– both mean 200 kroner.
