Marie Barentsz (1579–1667) was the daughter of Liana Barentsz, countess of Kitanus Fields. She was born in 1579. At the start of the Garllic War in 1604 she fled to Whales where she met and married Gregorius Schafenweide. Together they had three sons and one daughter, Adelaide Schafenweide.
