Livngston Celtic are a Napian football club based in the city of Brabantia, which competes in Napian Serie B. The manager is Shaun Irish and the club's stadium is the Celtic Park.
History
Livingston Celtic were created in 2012 and became a member of Napian Serie B for its first season.
Celtic Academy
Livingston Celtic have the best academy for football on the island, Celtic Academy. The truly remarkable system has produced some great Napian players, such as Ezeo Maartens and Andrew Young. It only accepts Napian players, and starts scouting them as early as age ten. Then, at age fifteen, it sends invites to the top twenty five players that have been scouted to join the academy, where they train for a year. That number goes down to eighteen in the second year, and training becomes more advanced. In the third year, the number is brought down to the final eleven, where training reaches its highest. Finally, five players are chosen out of those eleven to go to a national scouting tryout where they will be chosen by clubs from the Serie A to play for them. The next three get places in the Livingston Celtic line-up, and the last three are sent to other Serie B clubs or home. Some players however, can have special circumstances. If a player develops faster than his teammates, he will be pushed up an age group. If a player reaches his third year, and the club see potential in him, but believe another year of training is required, he will train an extra year. This system of selective choosing has produced some of the finest players in the sport today, and by the third year, are guaranteed to be top footballers. That is why the Celtic Academy has such a good reputation for being a tough, successful, and advanced academy.
