Apolyon Marinakis was Minister of Maritime of the Imperial State of Constancia from 13.X.1667 to 12.I.1686, concurrently Vice Chair of theGulf of Aqaba Authority during that same period, and later appointed Administrator of the Gulf of Aqaba Authority from 15.I.1686 - 1.I.1689.
In late 1699, recalled to active service in the Imperial Constancian Navy with the rank of Yponavarchos (Rear Admiral), and appointed Director of Maritime Movements of the Allied Military Council in Norvind, Altus. Also took command of KP Týmpana-se-vathiá as flag officer shortly thereafter.
