Senate Portrait of Malachi Ra-Alban

Malachi Ra-Alban (1540–1603) was an Elwynnese teleevangelist affiliated with the Remnant Church of Treesian Unorthodoxy. Elected to the Senate in 1593. Held that seat officially until 1600, but he was detained without trial in 1597 for smuggling of Leng cabbages. He was also suspected for an assassination attempt on the Prince. From jail, he penned a famous Letter from an Eliria Jail. Released in 1600, he died in the cabbage crisis of 1603.

Had one daughter, Eliza Ra-Lariat (born 1575), who was a cleric in the Church of Elwynn.
