Jurong West Football Club was a professional football club based in Jurong. They last played in the Daau Super League.
Till this day, Jurong West is the only Jurong based club to ever win a Daau Super League title 3 times in a row and the first ever to win the league too. They have claimed the title 4 times since the founding of the league.
History
Jurong West was founded to improve the teams' quality in the Jurong Area. The club was a part of the Jurong Football Project 2004 and to this date is the most successful Jurong based club in Daau as a whole. The club has won 4 league titles, 2 FA Cups, and 1 Daau Premier League title.
The club was commonly known with Daau United, Daas City as the big 3 of Dauian football as all three clubs once bossed the local leagues and won all major titles. Jurong West however started rather late compared to the other clubs but was able to join in the title race straight in in the 2005-06 season which saw them finish 2nd below defending champions Daau United with 2 points. The team then went invincible in the next season, finishing 1st and breaking all records to become the first Jurong based team to win the league, the club would go on to win 3 more titles in the coming years to futher solidify their status in Dauian football.
Jurong West later opened their football academy in 2008 which saw the likes of Ryan Tan, Ken Reyes become first team quality players after coming through the ranks of their youth system, this led tot he club's youth system being graded as the best in Daau back in 2013 due to the increasing number of youth prospects in the squad.
The team however took a drastic change and focused on signing experienced players to guide the club as the club was slowly falling behind in the 2021-22 season when the finished 5th out of 10 teams, this led to the signings of Santiago Javier, Furuq Qodie and Abdil Qaiyyim as foreigners to lead the team. Scheril Isaac was also signed to bolster the strike force. The club then hired Wlaxi'f Torisha as their new manager mid-season due to a lack of good results shown by the previous manager.
Jurong West was then disbanded due to the Dauian Reduction which saw the club liquidate and sold the club to the Semkang Dabao Group as the original owners fled Daau and joined The Green. The club has since been disowned by the Semkang Dabao group and claims to have 0 connection to the old Jurong West.
