The 2020–21 Kopa Sanya was the ninth edition of the Kopa Sanya.
Invited teams
Due to the stature of Senyan tournaments, and Senya's previous history of allowing Zeeburg FC to participate in the inaugural edition, many teams from nearby smaller nations had asked to participate as guest teams. After a forum vote of leagues, clubs and supporters in early 2020, it was decided to invite some foreign teams from neighbouring countries into the tournament.
