The United Benacian Defence Force (Bat: Verenigde Benacische Weermacht) was the unified armed forces of the United Benacian Republic, comprised of the forces raised by the Republic in Lower Batavia and the Free City of Chryse.
Organisationally the UBDF contained the Land Forces (Landmacht), tasked with territorial defence, border security, and aid to the civil power, and the Free Batavian Navy, assigned duties relating to the defence of the UBR's littoral waters, protection of assets and interests in the wider exclusive economic zone (EEZ), and the conduct of expeditionary warfare. Both force elements were supported by aviation and logistical assets held by the Central Command.
The Land Forces were further subdivided into the High Command for Land Forces in the West, with responsibility for the defence of Lower Batavia, and High Command for Land Forces in the East which performed the same duties in Chryse.
