Formed from civilian amateur footballers residing in Vey, the Vey FC was created in
It played in the first qualifying round of the 2016-17 AEFA Cup, scoring 2-2 in a hard-fought, and nearly-violent game against Muralia FC of Jingdao, while memories of the Euran War remained fresh in the minds of both teams.
