Ryan Badstuber is a former football player with New Amsterdam United of North Antarctica who joined the Cibolan Volunteer Corps after his club went belly-up following the demise of North Antarctica. Badstuber was born in Davignon, Batavia but also spent part of his life in Jingdao while his homeland went through dark times. He joined the volunteer corps because he hoped to start a new career in agriculture in Cibola. His dream is to become a peanut farmer. Badstuber's enrollment with the Cibolan Volunteer Corps was used by the corps' recruiters as a selling point.
