Livngston Celtic were a North Antarctic football club based in the city of Livingston, which competed in NAFA League 2. The manager was Shaun Irish and the club's stadium was the Celtic Park.
History
Livingston Celtic were created in 2012 and became a member of Napian Serie B for its first season.
Celtic Academy
Livingston Celtic had the best academy for football on the island, Celtic Academy. The truly remarkable system produced some great Napian players, such as Ezeo Maartens and Andrew Young. It only accepted Napian players, and started scouting them as early as age ten. Then, at age fifteen, it sent invites to the top twenty five players that had been scouted to join the academy, where they trained for a year. That number went down to eighteen in the second year, and training became more advanced. In the third year, the number was brought down to the final eleven, where training reached its highest. Finally, five players were chosen out of those eleven to go to a national scouting tryout where they were to be chosen by clubs from the Serie A to play for them. The next three got places in the Livingston Celtic line-up, and the last three were sent to other Serie B clubs or home. Some players however, could have had special circumstances. If a player developed faster than his teammates, he would have been pushed up an age group. If a player reached his third year, and the club saw potential in him, but believed another year of training was required, he would have trained an extra year. This system of selective choosing produced some of the finest players in the sport today, and by the third year, were guaranteed to be top footballers. That was why the Celtic Academy had such a good reputation for being a tough, successful, and advanced academy.
