Zig-Tank
The Zig-Tank (formal designation unknown) was a monstrous armoured vehicle constructed in Babkha during the height of its phase of imperial megalomania. Believed to have served no useful purpose save as a propaganda exercise in the context of the Euran Cold War, it had allegedly been built on the outskirts of Raspur with ostensible intent of being an armoured juggernaut at the spearhead of the armoured column that was to drive on New Berlin and effect the conquest of Luthoria. In practice however it only ever participated in military parade's outside the "temporary capital" of the Kingdom and would likely have suffered from catastrophic mechanical failures long before it had reached its stated objective - the site of Kamalshahr. Aside from a series of photographs, many believed to have been doctored by the Vizierate of Babkhan Truth, almost all of the documentary materials relating to this behemoth were lost during the Babkhan Holocaust.
The prevailing belief amongst the few to have studied the history surrounding the vehicle is that its design was directly influenced by the fashion for the construction of ziggurat stepped pyramids, which had taken hold during the period when the House of Osman dominated the Kingdom. The ziggurat was considered, for reasons not entirely clear, to have been the symbolic embodiment of the Harmonious Society which had gripped Babkha during its final years as a closed totalitarian state.
The remains of the vehicle are believed to lie somewhere in the interior of the Suren Confederacy.
