Ye Olde Valtian Loin
Ye Olde Valtian Loin was a historic chop shop situated adjacent to the "Prospect of Freyja" tavern on Gropecunte Lane in Eliria. The venue was known for its literary, cultural, and political associations, with regular patrons drawn from amongst the academics of the university and the castle.
The building itself dated back to the 1530's, the era of the first manifestation of Froyalanish dominion over Elwynn. In accordance with this legacy therefore the interior of the chop house, notable for its subterranean levels and comparative absence of natural light, was decorated with all manner of Froyalaner kitsch, much of it recovered from the houses of the exiled nobility and taken as spoils in the aftermath of the Auspicious Occasion.
The excellent reputation of the establishment had been largely founded upon its no-nonsense approach to the fundamentals of Elw cuisine and the roasting of various special meats, prepared and cooked on site to the customer's specification and satisfaction.
With the destruction of Eliria in 1695, as part of the Scouring, the establishment and its vivands would endure only in the memory.
