Xiaoxincheng is a Jingdaoese city in northern Apollonia. As one of two cities on the northern coast, the city is an important seaport in the Northern Sea region. The city is home to several shipping and trade companies. The Alriggian Apollonian Shipping Company and United North Apollonian Company are major drivers of the local economy. The city has a small international airport, Xiaoxincheng International Airport which mostly handles cargo.

Etymology

Xiao can be translated as 'young' or 'small', xing means 'flourishing' and 'cheng' is a common word meaning 'city'. The city name can be translated as young flourishing city.
